Resonance fluorescence from atoms in a cavity

چکیده
2014 We consider the problem of resonance fluorescence from N two-level atoms interacting with an intense cavity mode. The novel results for the spectral and statistical properties of the fluorescence field, which are quite different from collective resonance fluorescence in a free space, are obtained. The correlation, anti-correlation between spectrum components and violation of the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality are discussed. J. Phys. Computational study of energetic, stability, and nuclear magnetic resonance of BN nanotube as a nanosensor
Now a day study on boron nitrid nanotubes are in considerable attetion due to their unique properties in different field of science. In this letter, after final optimization, thermodynamic properties analysis, stabilities, electronic structure and nuclear magnetic resonance parameters including σ isotropic and σ anisotropic tensors and asymmetric parameters of 15N and 11B nuclei are calculated....
متن کاملMicrophotonics Playing with Atoms
T he scalable manipulation and optical addressing of atomic systems is at the heart of many proposed schemes for quantum communication and quantum information processing1,2. In such systems, quantum information is stored in the states of individual atoms and ions, or within macroscopic atomic ensembles and vapours. Photons prepare atomic states, mediate atomic interactions, and act as ‘flying q...
متن کاملStructure of hydrated clusters of dibenzo-18-crown-6-ether in a supersonic jet--encapsulation of water molecules in the crown cavity.
The structure of dibenzo-18-crown-6-ether (DB18C6) and its hydrated clusters has been investigated in a supersonic jet. Two conformers of bare DB18C6 and six hydrated clusters (DB18C6-(H(2)O)(n)) were identified by laser-induced fluorescence, fluorescence-detected UV-UV hole-burning and IR-UV double-resonance spectroscopy. The IR-UV double resonance spectra were compared with the IR spectra obt...
متن کاملCollective cooling and self-organization of atoms in a cavity.
We theoretically investigate the correlated dynamics of N coherently driven atoms coupled to a standing-wave cavity mode. For red detuning between the driving field and the cavity as well as the atomic resonance frequencies, we predict a light force induced self-organization of the atoms into one of two possible regular patterns, which maximize the cooperative scattering of light into the cavit...
متن کاملResonator-aided single-atom detection on a microfabricated chip.
We use an optical cavity to detect single atoms magnetically trapped on an atom chip. We implement the detection using both fluorescence into the cavity and atom-induced reduction in cavity transmission. In fluorescence, we register 2.0(2) photon counts per atom, which allows us to detect single atoms with 75% efficiency in 250 micros. In absorption, we measure transmission attenuation of 3.3(3...
